Liangsicheng Memorial Hall

＂ Liang Sicheng Memorial Hall ＂ is located on the north side of the sinking square of Dongcheng Wall Belt Park in Datong City. It is a special memorial hall to commemorate Mr. Liang Sicheng (1901 ～ 1972), opened in 2011. The museum is named by Luo Zhewen, a Chinese ancient architecture expert and Liang Sicheng's disciple. Liang Sicheng and others came to Datong for ancient construction inspection in the 1930s, leaving precious surveying and mapping manuscripts for many ancient buildings in Datong. Today, the ancient city protection and restoration project in Datong depends on these detailed surveying and mapping manuscripts and text materials. The theme of the exhibition in the museum is "Master. Datong", and four exhibition halls are set up, with the theme of a generation of masters, worthy of mountains and rivers, Datong investigation, and consolation of the first teachers, fully showing the history of Mr. Liang Sicheng's visit to Datong for ancient architecture inspection. The collection of Mr. Liang's monographs is even more precious.

Liang Sicheng Memorial Hall is located at the foot of the east wall of Datong City. The museum is the only antique courtyard in the country that sinks underground. It is revealed on the ground that the green tiles, dragon kisses, spines, etc. on the roof of the courtyard are scattered.
