This Nicholas Church is built adjacent to the Nicholas Tower, the eastern pagoda of the Old Town. This Nicholas Church also plays a role in solidifying the eastern defense, including the tall tower.
It faces the Karls Square in Eisenach and stands alongside the Nicholas Tower. It looks like it has been remodeled and restored several times during the construction at the end of the 12th century. I visited after 17:30 on Wednesday, but unfortunately the door was closed and I couldn't get inside.
