Lovely lake
I walked around the outskirts of this, by the lake. It is really easy to get to from Faaborg (on foot). Lovely walks, and lots of signposts.
Cycling through the mountains - great nature experience!
Almost impassible to cycle in this area with a normal bicycle = make certain you have a ATB and at least 12 gears!

You must be fitt if you want to spend the day walking around because of the hills - there are great tracks to follow (if that's what you want) but you can also just sit down and enjoy the view. Great ...
