The overall layout of the Guangzhou Tower fully considers the surrounding environment of the site. [11] Because the eastern side of the site is a residential area, the main tower is arranged on the north side of the land, close to the Pearl River and Binjiang Road, reducing the interaction between its high volume and surrounding buildings, and forming a complete green square and underground space on the south. The main tower is surrounded by irregular overhead platforms, the south slope extends to the south green square, the north crosses the riverside road, through the green step transition and the Pearl River to form a hydrophilic platform, seamlessly connects the riverside landscape belt, expands the green area of the square. Along the top of the tower, the steel grid outer frame cylinder ring beam, also has the world's tallest 16 sightseeing ball cabins, can overlook 360°, enjoy Guangzhou and even the Pearl River Delta. i have been looking forward to visiting this tower for 6 months, saw it during the day in its vastness then came back at night and it is even better. simply stunningthat can't quite be said for the tower facilities, went to twist resturant for dinner and felt underwhelming, especially for the price (that also is sepperate cost to tower entry)at night the viewing platforms have so much glare and reflections it is quite difficult to get good photos from up top, best bet is to go during the day if you want photosvalue for money i'm a bit in the fence, if you visit guangzhou you have to at least see the tower at night even if you don't go inside
