This lovely museum is very interesting and well worth the 3 Euro entrance fee. Others reviewers have described the exhibits so I'll just add that the curator speaks English and is happy to answer any ...
A must stop to truly appreciate the history of the Roman Empire. Only negative is that all plaques are in Italian and not English but still worthwhile visiting.

I like the Eastern entrance because you can experience both old and new Gubbio here. The funivia is also close by, as is the Locanda del Cantiniere restaruant well worth a visit!

Good starting point to explore Gubbio.
