Itsukushima Shrine is the only shrine on Teuri Island. It's a small shrine and it's inconspicuous, but you can easily find it by taking a walk. It is located in a place rich in nature with a quiet atmosphere.

About 1 km from the ferry terminal. It's an uphill so it's about a 20-minute walk. I was staying at a nearby guest house Eimaru, so I stopped by for a walk in the morning. It is a bright shrine with no big trees and a wide sky. It's on the mountain side and you can't see the sea, but it has a slightly solemn atmosphere because it's hills behind it.

豊漁の神様

焼尻島を散策中に偶然見つけました。 フェリーターミナルから徒歩約10分くらいのところにあります。 毎年6月に豊漁祈願の島をあげてのお祭りが行われるそうです。 近くには、ハート柄の坂道がありました。

存在感あります

レンタルバイクで走っていたら、白い鳥居が見えたので止めて立ち寄りました。 礼文島にも「厳島神社」ありましたが、ここも同様なのでしょうか。 人工的なものが多くはない天売島では目立つ存在だと思います。
