During this period, I often travel to Hong Kong If it's the weekend or a holiday, I will bring the kids along I've discovered several free and large parks They all have children's play facilities Hong Kong's municipal and public services are really quite impressive. 1⃣️ Hong Kong Park A large municipal park on Hong Kong Island Inside there is a zoological and botanical park, as well as the Edward Youde Aviary This aviary simulates a tropical rainforest environment Visiting gives you the feeling of being in a forest There are probably more than 500 species of birds. The park also has a Rainbow Playground It's super beautiful Divided into several levels There are sand digging, climbing, slides, etc. Children can fully expend their energy here 🚇 Admiralty Station Exit C (near the Cotton Tree Drive Marriage Registry) 2⃣️ Tuen Mun Park Although it's a bit far from the city center It's still quite convenient with direct subway access There's a reptile house Inside there are tortoises, snakes, and other various reptiles The playground is super large With a water play area, climbing area, slides, sand digging, etc. 🚇 Tuen Mun Station Exit B 3⃣️ Kowloon Park A treasure park in Tsim Sha Tsui There are three museums inside Additionally, there's the Avenue of Comic Stars, Bird Lake Opposite the swimming pool is a playground Very suitable for kids to play 🚇 Tsim Sha Tsui Station Exit A1, Jordan Station Exit F

Visitors can enjoy the gardens, ponds and the most popular spot the waterfalls. It also has benches where you can sit and talk or just enjoy the park itself. There is cafe as well just next to the waterfall area. It's quite cozy. At the pond, it is prohibited to feed the fish and turtles as it may cause some chaos. The park is really good to relax after roaming around the Central.

Location: Hong Kong Park, Hong Kong island. Getting there: Take the subway to Admiralty station. Get off and walk through Pacific Place mall. This park is in the heart of HK island. Here you can relax and let the busyness pass out by. You can admire the fish, the turtles and other animals in the pond. The views are stunning looking at the Peak and the HK city skyscrapers. #hongkong

I would definitely recommend visiting this park if you like, walking, nature or a picnic in the park! I travelled to this park from the metro, it’s fairly easy to find from Admiralty Metro station, it’s about a 10 minute walk away. This park boasts, beautiful waterfalls and even turtles. However, unfortunately at this time of year until December 2023, the popular Aviary bird site and is closed for the public for renovation. So although you won’t be able to see any wildlife inside the cage, there is plenty outdoor scenery for a beautiful afternoon stroll. #yearofrabbit #newyearadventure #tripblazers #birds #hongkong

In search for some nature fun, we’ve come to the center of the city. On the way to the aviary we saw photographers gathering around some bushes, and what a nice surprise - we saw lots of butterflies with beautiful wings fluttering around the flowers! At the entrance of the aviary, we took the informative leaflet about the birds and started a scavenger hunt with the colorful list of birds on it. There were birds of all kinds of colors, different tweeting and chirping, you can see birds up close nibbling on food or building a nest. There were even squirrels, ducks and big pheasants that may appear out of nowhere to surprise you!

The museum is located inside the Hong Kong Park. The museum holds regular exhibition, tea gathering and lecture program about tea and tea ware. I visited near the closing time (6PM) so there isn’t any lecture or gathering. But it didn’t reduce my chance to learn about the history of tea ware as the museum provide detailed information together with the display. The museum shows you the tea ware used in the past and the modern tea ware created by modern crafters. You can also buy tea ware and tea leaves from the museum for souvenirs.

Hong Kong park is located between Admiralty and Central and you can access the park from both MTR exit. It is a public park which you can visit anytime without any charge. The park is big and have many places to explore, like the tea ware museum or the Edward Youde Aviary where you can see different kind of birds. Tips: bring mosquito repellent when you visit because there are so many mosquitoes in the area especially during summer

It’s a real paradise in the middle of the city jungles! You will see an unusual view: from one side skyscrapers, from the other - natural forest. Cool green park, very quiet, with interesting design, loans and lots of benches. There are lots of open spaces for parents with kids. But there are also some hidden spots where you can stay alone and enjoy the nature. There is a waterfall and a lake in the park with lovely turtles 🐢. If you want to enjoy a place with a good combination of natural landscape and attractions in the middle of the busy and crowded Hong Kong city, you can go to Hong Kong Park. Even though skyscrapers surround the Park, the big trees make this place sunless. On top of this, Hong Kong Park offers many attractions and exciting spots. The Aviary, and the Teaware museum, for example, are the place you can consider visiting. Take a stroll through the park and find a fountain plaza and an artificial lake with many goldfish. The lake has become a photogenic spot for many visitors. You can also see turtles swim or sunbathe in the lake. This one is adorable. Near the restaurant in the park is an artificial waterfall which is quite fun for visitors. The park location is about five minutes walk from MTR Admiralty station or seven minutes from MTR Central Station. It opens to the public free of charge from 06:00 AM to 11:00 PM. However, other attractions inside the park, like the Aviary or museum, have different opening hours. You can check before going there. -#park #attraction
