At the visitor center, you can see the origin of the Sarobetsu wilderness and photos of the animals that live in it, and there is an observation room on the 2nd floor where you can see the Sarobetsu wilderness. It is recommended that you go up to the observatory across the road to overlook the Sarobetsu plain from a high position. There is a walking path in the visitor center, and it takes about 10 to 20 minutes for a round trip, and the road is flat, so it's good to take a walk.
