Mount Huashan, known as "Xiyue" in ancient times, is one of the five famous mountains in China. It is located in Huayin City, Shaanxi Province. Five main peaks

The East Peak is about 2,100 meters above sea level and is named after its location in the east. There is a platform on the top of the peak. It is high up and has a wide view. It is a good place to watch the sunrise. It is called Chaoyang Peak. Therefore, Dongfeng is also called Chaoyang Peak. The East Peak is composed of four peaks: one master and three servants. The peak toward the balcony is higher, Yunv Peak is in the west, Shilou Peak is in the east, and Botai is in the south. There are more than dozens of landscapes on the East Peak. There are natural stone patterns on the cliff side of the East Stone Tower Peak, which look like a giant palm print. The west peak is about 2,000 meters above sea level. Because there is a huge boulder on the top of the peak that is shaped like a lotus petal, ancient literati often called it Lotus Peak or Furong Peak. Xu Xiake's "Diary of Traveling to Mount Taihua" records: "The stone rises up from the peak, and there are stone flakes covering it, like lotus flowers." It refers to this stone. There are many landscapes on the west peak, such as Cuiyun Palace, Lotus Cave, Giant Spirit Feet, Ax Split Stone, Sacrifice Cliff, etc., and are accompanied by many beautiful myths and legends. Among them, the well-known story of Agarwood splitting the mountain to save his mother is spread here.

The South Peak is more than 2,100 meters above sea level and is the highest main peak of Huashan Mountain. The ancients called it the "head of state of Huashan Mountain". On one side of the south peak is a thousand-foot cliff, upright as if cut, with a fault and deep ravine below, which is isolated from Sangong and Sanfeng Mountains. The south peak consists of one peak and two tops. The east side is called Songhui Peak and the west side is Luoyan Peak. The origin of the name Luoyan Peak is that returning geese often rest here.

The North Peak is about 1,600 meters above sea level. It is suspended on all sides, with a crown of scenic clouds above and a ground connection below. It is majestic and unique, and is also known as Yuntai Peak because of its appearance like a cloud platform. Li Bai of the Tang Dynasty once wrote in the poem "Song of Yuntai in Xiyue to Send Dan Qiuzi": "The three peaks stand as if they are about to be destroyed, and the green cliffs of Dan Valley are as high as palms. The white emperor's gold essence transports vitality, and the stone is made of lotus and the clouds are used as the platform." The famous " The story of "Taking Huashan Outsmarted" happened here. There are many landscapes on the mountain, the famous ones include Zhenwu Hall, Jiao Gong Stone Chamber, Changchun Stone Chamber, Laojun Hanging Plow Place, etc.

The middle peak is the place that must be passed by to get to the other four peaks. It is located in the center of the east, west and south peaks. The woods on the peak are lush and green, and the environment is quiet. There is a Taoist temple named Jade Girl Temple at the top of the peak. It is said that it was the place where Duke Mu of Qin used jade to cultivate her body during the Spring and Autumn Period, so it is also called Jade Girl Peak.

• long sky plank road

The Changkong Plank Road is located on the mountainside on the east side of the south peak of Huashan Mountain. It was built by the master of the Huashan School, Taoist He Zhizhen in the Yuan Dynasty, who inlaid stone piles on the cliff and laid wooden boards in order to stay away from the world and become an immortal. When you reach the end of the plank road, you can see the "Hezu Cave" where Master He cultivates his body. The road builders dug stone holes into the cliff, wedged stone piles into the holes, and laid wooden boards about 40 centimeters wide between the stone piles. To pass here, tourists must stick to the cliff, pull the iron chain with their hands, step on the wooden boards, and stand sideways. Move forward slowly.

• Xiyue Temple

Xiyue Temple, also known as Huayue Temple, is a temple where emperors of all dynasties worshiped and worshiped Shaohao, the Great Emperor of Xiyue. It was first built during the Yuanguang period of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty (134 BC - 129 BC). It was built at the entrance of Huangshen Valley (today's Huangfu Valley) at the foot of Huashan Mountain. During the reign of Emperor Huan of the Eastern Han Dynasty (147-167 AD), it was moved to its current location and renamed its present name. It was rebuilt many times in the Tang, Song, Ming and Qing dynasties.

• Canglong Ridge

The steps on Canglong Ridge are only more than 2 feet wide, with deep ravines on both sides, as steep as a knife or an axe. Jinsuoguan is one of the five passes of Huashan Mountain. It is built on a stone arch at the entrance of Sanfeng. It is the choke point from Wuyun Peak to the east, west, south and middle peaks. Taoists believe that Huayue is a fairyland, and only after passing through the Tongtian Gate can one enter the fairyland. Tour method

There are two mountain gates (mountain entrances) in Huashan: Dongshan Gate and Xishan Gate (also called Huashan Gate).
