Flower Valley

The Flower Valley is located in Daqiao Village, Zhuanlong Town, Jintang County, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, China, covering an area of ​​more than 1,200 acres.

Flower Valley has collected and preserved more than 1,000 germplasm resources and more than 700 varieties of hollyhocks. The number of preserved resources ranks first in the world, and it has become a Chinese hollyhock germplasm resource preservation center and a large hollyhock gene bank. It has become a world-renowned Chinese hollyhock planting and viewing base with a large area and many varieties.

In 2017, Flower Valley obtained the trademark registration certificate for "Hometown of Hollyhock" issued by the Trademark Office of the State Intellectual Property Office.



The hibiscus cultivation area in the Flower Valley is over 600 mu, with more than 200,000 hibiscus plants and more than 30 varieties planted. It has become a large-scale and multi-variety hibiscus breeding and viewing center in China and even the world.

Tens of thousands of extremely precious Chinese native lilies are cultivated in the Flower Valley. It is currently the only theme park in China that displays the beauty of Chinese native lilies.

In addition to the three major theme flowers of Chinese hollyhock, native Chinese lily and hibiscus, relying on the good natural resources such as hills, low mountains, lakes, ponds, forests, etc., nearly a thousand kinds of beautiful and charming flowers are cultivated in the area, including Chinese aster, Chinese dianthus, Chinese peony, Chinese peony, lupine, poppy, zinnia, cornflower, dahlia, cosmos, etc. These flowers bloom in different sequences with the seasons.

At the same time, the Flower Valley took the lead in establishing the country's first rural flower culture science corridor, and successively held the "Sichuan's First Alpine Wild Flowers" and "Chengdu's First Native Plants" photography exhibitions, as well as the "First Hollyhock Cultural Tourism Festival", "32nd Hibiscus Flower Exhibition", "Global Chinese Love Poetry Festival", "Tianfu Hibiscus Flower Festival" and other festivals, allowing more people to understand the value and culture of Chinese flowers and plants and recognize more of China's beauty.

In the next ten years, with the strong support of the party committees and governments at all levels of the city, county and town, Flower Valley will promote Jintang's new cultural tourism, new industries, and new brands with the primary agricultural cultivation as the foundation, the secondary hollyhock products as the starting point, and the tertiary tourism culture as the foundation.
