    Temples with many stone walls

    Original Text

As the name suggests, it is located on the top of a steep mountain. The walls were surrounded like castles, and the back of the gate was made of stone walls.

a rare temple like a castle.

    Original Text

Climb a narrow steep slope over 1km from National Highway 258. Then suddenly, you will see a castle or fortress-like building and arrive at Gyokiji Temple. The scenery of the Noo Plain from the parking space is also wonderful, but you can see the inside and the garden for a fee (400 yen), and the scenery from there is also wonderful. This is also known as "Tsukimiji" or "Hidden Castle", because the moon looks beautiful and the building looks like a castle. Originally, it was called a temple built by Gyoki in 744 ...

The plum season was good too.

    Original Text

I like the view from the garden and the atmosphere of the building, so I visited several times, but this time I visited during the plum season. The cute plums in the precincts were also wonderful. I definitely want to visit once on the night of moon viewing.

    Noo plain spreading below

    Original Text

The entrance from the national highway 258 line is difficult to understand, but if you go to a wide intersection, the sharp corner curve is easy to turn. If you drive up the narrow mountain road, you can see the stone wall and there is a large free parking lot. Even if it is not the moon viewing season, it is worth seeing enough.

    i feel good, lord.

    Original Text

Precincts. It is a temple with a wonderful landscape. Please note that the road to the temple is a steep uphill, so you may be canceled in winter. You can enjoy the scenery of 々 in the four seasons, and although it is the family temple of the Owari matsudaira family, even the lord at that time told me that he couldn't easily visit it. It is very luxurious to have matcha and sweets in the hall overlooking the Noo plain.
