There is a cafe where you can take a break, and there is a monument that represents the pass, so it's a consecutive holiday during the autumn leaves season. The Sounkyo side is quite colored, but the autumn leaves on the Obihiro side are not good enough and will be more than １ weeks ahead.

The free parking lot has a log house-style cafe and toilet, so it is good for a drive break. There is a virgin forest in the surrounding area, and you can see Matsumi Ohashi Bridge, which gently curves in the sea of trees. The large panorama of the sea of trees and mountains 々 is spreading, and you can see the magnificent natural landscape like Hokkaido.
