Great views at the top
When we arrived it looked locked. But the gate does open with a latch that goes into the ground. nice hike up a wandering path. It's not too steep, I would rate it moderate. The views at the top are ...

Very steep ascent from Karystos. Interesting chapel at summit with well under the floor. Good views.
Amazing view!
Amazing ancient castle! Not that much that remained intact, apart from the walls. Nonetheless very impressive. Not wheelchair friendly unfortunately. Quite a climb to the top, but totally worth it!!

Yet again, somewhere we always go for the views, slightly cooler air. In the past I could climb up to the castle, unfortunately mobility not good enough now
