Very itneresting inofration.
You learn many things about the history of the island and the population as well as how this island evolved influenced by Crete and after under the Venetians.
Very clear and well-curated museum at top end of Hora (not in castle). Gives a good picture of the island's history through artefacts and an excellent video.

If you come to Kythera, this Museum really needs to be on your agenda. Located on the main road into Chora, there is parking next to the Museum or further on in the huge parking area in front of the ...
