Just look from the outside!

Unlike the townscape of the white-walled warehouse in the Bikan Historical Quarter, the former villa of Magosaburo Ohara, with outstanding green tiles and orange walls. It's private, so you can only see it from the outside, but it's worth a look.
It is an old house as Mr. Ohara's villa on the opposite bank of Imahashi, the famous Ohara Museum of Art across the Kurashiki River, and is currently maintained by the Ohara Museum of Art. It is usually not open to the public, but it is open to the public as a special exhibition venue for the museum every spring and autumn, so if you want to see the inside, you should aim for the spring GW or mid-October ~ early November. It's good.
I usually only see it from the outside, but I was lucky to be able to visit it during the special release period. I love the brewery style because it has a traditional taste that has been steadily increasing with new shops and specialties. I think it's a good idea to look for an event.
There is a nice dining room at the Ohara family's villa on the banks of the Kurashiki River. It is a compact green tiled-roofed building with a two-story building including the garden.
The former villa of the Ohara family called Midori Palace is open twice a year.

Opposite the river of the Ohara Museum of Art, there is a villa built in 1931 called "Midori Goten" of the Ohara family, the founder of Kurashiki spinning. The Ohara family does not live here now, but the gate is usually closed and you can only see the green tiled-roofed mansion from the front, but only the second floor in spring and autumn There is a time when I regret it It seems that. Since it is also managed as an attached vertical gate of the Ohara Museum of Art, it seems that it will be open to the public as a venue for special exhibitions, and beauty ...
