Tracy Lawn (Theresienwiese) located in the Ludwig suburb of Munich, the suburb of Isar, is the official venue for the Munich Beer Festival, covering 420,000 square meters. The lawn is named after Ludwig I's wife, Tracey, who married here in 1810. The Munich Beer Festival has since been held here every year to celebrate the event, and in April, one of Germany's largest flea markets is also held there.
The German Free Drive just caught up with the Munich Beer Festival and chose a working day afternoon to go, but it was still crowded with people. It was hard to find one in the beer shed.
