The famous Kyoto Benjamin Temple is located in the sub-temple of Nagoya, the second largest wooden building in Japan. Founded in Mingying, 1492-1500, Nagoya is a pure land monastery of the genuine sect. The original worship of Nagoya is the Amitabha Buddha.
