I've been to Hakodate many times, but I learned about this place from the bulletin board at the Trappist Monastery shop. It's about 20 minutes from Shin Hakodate Hokuto station, but I think it's a little-known spot. The weather was nice, so if you look south, you can see the city of Hakodate and Mt.
