Yeah it was a very large tree. We have seen many other big trees in our travels. I wouldn’t travel out of your way to see it but if you’re passing through it’s worth the little detour out of town.

Nice natural location - impressive tree

It is just a short walk out of town, along a creek: easily walked but also accessible by vehicle if that is preferred. Plenty of birdlife along the creek and an impressive river red gum.

Its a huge tree and it's worth a look. history of tree is well explained. this tree was around before most European explorers. around 600 years old.
