An ancient beauty restored.
This is one of the most wonderful places you will ever visit and it is man made. Usually, natural sites impress me but knowing we were visiting the area this was going to be one of my "Ports of call"....
Fantastic castle, free entry and fabulous views. The castle houses an exhibition of uniforms and weaponry. As it's off the tourist route we were on our own exploring this gem.
As a little charming place, controlling the area between the sea of Alboran and the coast, an old Carabiner neighborhood (which are restoring) as the letter indicates a exit.
A little free history. You can see the historic uniforms of Spanish soldiers as well as the weapons used. A strong to protect the coastal villages from pirates.
