Panjiakou Reservoir Scenic Area is less crowded and cool. Riding a motorboat through the mountains is simply "Guilin landscape", beautiful as a painting. There is a section of the Great Wall hidden under water in the Panjiakou Reservoir in Qianxi, Tangshan. This is a section of the Great Wall that was submerged due to the construction of the reservoir in 1975. The Great Wall that was submerged in the reservoir stretched its body to the bottom of the water, and then stood up from the opposite bank to form a superb view of the Great Wall. This is a Complimentary open area. There are farmhouses for food and accommodation.
