Qingdao Xiaoyushan: A Sunset Viewing Platform So Beautiful It Takes Your Breath Away In Qingdao, this beautiful coastal city, both Signal Hill and Xiaoyushan are excellent spots to overlook the old city's architecture and the sea. However, in my heart, Xiaoyushan holds a special place that always brings me joy whenever I climb it, and I would never tire of it even after 100 visits. Xiaoyushan is not tall, and it doesn't require much effort to climb, which is undoubtedly a blessing for us 'lazy people'. Standing at the top, you can gaze at the beautiful scenery of Qingdao, with the Zhan Bridge, Little Qingdao, Lu Xun Park, the No.1 Bathing Beach, and the Badaguan Scenic Area all in sight, as if a series of vivid paintings are unfolding before your eyes. Every casual snapshot is a stunning masterpiece. Of course, if you have plenty of time, consider including both Signal Hill and Xiaoyushan in your itinerary. They are not far apart, and you can easily shuttle between the two peaks, experiencing different perspectives and charms. Recommended citywalk route: Start from Signal Hill, stroll to University Road to feel the artistic atmosphere of Qingdao; then head to Xiaoyushan to enjoy the gorgeous sunset view; finally, walk along Fushan Branch Road to experience the tranquility and beauty of Qingdao. Both Xiaoyushan and Signal Hill have no admission fee, and visitors can come and go freely. It is suggested to arrange your visit before sunset so that you can enjoy the beautiful sunset view from the top of the hill. Xiaoyushan: Red tiles and green trees, city view + sea view all in one, it only takes a minute or two to walk to the top, the classic position overlooks the first sea bathing place. Signal Hill: One of the sunset viewing spots, there is also a popular 'cliff' photo spot, positioning the north gate is more labor-saving, if time allows, there is no need to choose between it and Xiaoyushan, go to both. Second Sea Bathing Place: The end of May is the most beautiful time for the second bath (self-proclaimed), no green algae, the sea is clear and turbulent, you can take the same kind of dam end as the ghost. It's very wide, and you can also take cliff effect on the rocks. Xiaomaidao: It is recommended to go to the island before 10 o'clock in the morning on a sunny day, the sparkling diamond sea, there are many popular photo spots that are very photogenic, and it is also one of the best sunset viewing spots. First Sea Bathing Place: The volleyball old man by the sea is too healing! The most lively sea bathing place, it's very happy to watch the locals swim and play ball. Lu Xun Park: It's really underestimated, sandwiched between the first bath and Qinyu Road, it's a holy place to cross the road and blow the sea breeze. Qinyu Road: Morning, rainy day, sunset each has its own flavor, don't take this as a scenic spot, it's just a road. Nearby is my favorite Wilde, in front of Wilde's door is the lonely tree. You can go up the reef to take pictures. Xiaoqingdao: The heart of Lu Xun in the first bath (the end of Qinyu Road is Xiaoqingdao Park. There is a long straight road at the entrance, you can turn up to the high platform, the pavilion and the 'coconut tree' inside are old popular photo spots, you can also watch the sunset. Xiling Gorge Road: A moody intersection that can also produce pictures on cloudy days! There is also a bus to the sea next door, the lens has language, the expressiveness here is very good. Zhanqiao: Just stroll over from Xiling Gorge Road, there are seagulls from Siberia in winter, it's worth a look. (A lot of people) Fushan Forest Park: A relatively niche urban park, positioned at the west gate, it is more convenient to go up the trestle. The mountain and the sea depend on each other, and there is also the blessing of the city view, a sunset viewing spot, and it is also the 'City of Love' at night. Catholic Church: In addition to faith, those who like to take pictures can look through the residential buildings I went to before, otherwise it's optional. Olympic Sailing Center: Together with Lovers Dam, like the Haiyuan Park in Weihai, I have no feeling for the square sea, there is a delicious steam seafood nearby. Yan'er Island Park: The two times I went were cloudy and road repairs, I really can't recommend it, Xiaomaidao is more worth it. Jinmao Bay: It is also a classic sunset viewing spot, but it is not popular, if you want to go to the mall to eat or stay nearby, it is very wide view.

🌈Historical background: This mountain originally had no formal name, but later got the name 'Little Fish Mountain' because it is close to Fish Mountain Road. The main building is 'Lanchao Pavilion'. In 1934, to promote Buddhism, layman Wang Jinyu sponsored the construction of a lecture hall on the top of Little Fish Mountain as a place for Buddhist laymen to listen to scriptures and cultivate themselves, named 'Zhan Mountain Jingshe'. In 1959, Zhan Mountain Jingshe was demolished due to its near collapse, leaving only the ruins. 🚗Highlights: Although the mountain is not high, it has a wide view. Climbing the mountain and looking down, from west to east, you can see a series of beautiful coastal scenery: Zhanqiao, Little Qingdao, Lu Xun Park, Aquarium, Huiquan Bay, the First Seawater Bathing Beach, Badaguan Scenic Area, etc., with the beautiful sea view in front of you. 🎫Ticket information: Tickets are 5 yuan. ✨Travel suggestions: The entire Little Fish Mountain Park is not large, and it can basically be visited in 1-2 hours.
