We went to San Diego from Los Angeles and I always wanted to absorb cultural sites, so we decided to go to Uber. In Los Angeles, we didn’t even have anywhere near this site, so we went to San Diego. This work is underway and is likely to become a hub for Raza culture and self-awareness.

The Sand Cultural Center is a sand cultural museum in San Diego, mainly displaying various artworks made from sand, ranging from sand sculptures to sand paintings, reflecting the artist's ingenuity and intrigue.
Really cool, in disrepair potential. Free, not many people. Worth a visit if you are in the area.
A great place to be enriched in culture!Per their site: We are a cultural activity center and art space. We are dedicated to the preservation and support of the Chicana/o, Latino and Indigenous art and culture.Our Gallery is open everyday except Monday. Our normal gallery hours are 12-4pm, but we have special events and workshops all the time. So check our website for upcoming events.
