The riverside building was built in 1932 by the investment of the new sandson foreign bank, the design of the new shen construction plant. During World War II, the riverside building was a reception station for European Jewish refugees to take refuge in Shanghai. After decades of wind and rain, the riverside building has been mottled and vicissitudes of internal environment, and now it is undergoing protective housing repair.
