A park on a hill overlooking Lake Toya. Plum groves spread out on the slopes and you can see the lake beyond them. The flowering situation will be very politely announced on the blog by the Tourism Association, which is very helpful. Climb a narrow road where cars can barely dodge, and there are about a dozen parking lots at the top. It seems to be crowded when it is crowded on weekends. It is a highly recommended plum spot.
I found it on the way to Muroran, so I stopped by. It was very disappointing that I could not see Showa Shinzan or Mt. Usu because the weather was raining and the gas was thick, and I could only see a part of Lake Toya. However, there was Kannon at the observatory, and about 10 people were chanting the Hannya Shinkyo. When I read the explanation, it seemed that I was visiting "Lake Toya Sanjusan Kanzeon".
