Great Walking Paths, pleasant walk , water very clear with great view of brown trout. Good fishing facilities

The Dodder Valley walk is really great from Firhouse Weir all the way through to Old Bawn Road at The Mill. varied scenery but good for a family walk or alone - approx 7km round trip - or a cycle

Close to Dublin this is a very nice stroll from Rathfarnham to Bohernabreena . On the way we stopped at Speakers in Firhouse where we had beers and a snack
