Nice enough
Nice enough but not a patch on Franschhoek. Nice cafes. Went on a Sunday. Interesting market stalls. Quite a large university town
Worth a visit
Beautiful place, definitely worth the visit. We had lunch in the city center and in the afternoon visited a couple of wineries.
A beautiful & historic street!
We enjoyed a stroll down this historic street, with its grand buildings, smart cafes & restaurants. Look out for interesting street art too.
Very nice street
We walked almost the whole street. Lovely. Just had a small issue with a poor homeless gent but loved the walk, and Oom Samie se winkel too.
A very pleasant discovery
I really enjoyed wondering around this area. It’s very clean and orderly. I felt totally safe, despite the numerous warnings from hotel staff about not walking around alone.
