Ancient Mosque (Jiefang Road)

The ancient mosque is located on the east side of Jiefang South Road, and in front of the gate is a bustling and bustling street. The temple was built in the Zhenguan period of the Tang Dynasty and has been built in all dynasties. The temple we see now was built in the Ming Dynasty. The mosque hall has a brick and wood structure, and the four walls of the hall are painted with Arabic patterns, with bright colors and delicate lines. There are also several passages of the Arabic "Koran" inscribed in the hall. There are many famous stone inscriptions in the left and right stele pavilions outside the hall, such as the handwriting of Huang Tingjian, Zhao Mengfu, Fang Xiaoru and others. The ancient temple sits west to the east and has two courtyards. The temple has a main hall, a lecture room, a heart building, a stele pavilion, a bathing room, a conference hall, an imam's room and other buildings. In the front yard, there is a double-storey peace building built in the Ming Dynasty. There are two hexagonal stele pavilions facing each other at the back of the building, and there are stele inscriptions inside. There is an inscription in the South Stele Pavilion, which was erected in the seventh year of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty (1868).
