Seifukuin is 1 of the temple head temple of Heilinji (Shingon sect), which is said to have been founded by Prince Shotoku. When I visited for the first time in a long time at the beginning of January, there was a five-color curtain on the mountain gate. The five-color curtain consisted of blue, white, red, yellow and green (see photo). The trees in the precincts were also in good condition.
Mukoyama Seifukuin near Sakasegawa Station is a venerable temple built as the sub temple of Heirinji Temple. This is also the last temple of Daikakuji Temple in Kyoto.
It was a temple with a life-ending counseling consultation center where you can think about how to spend your last time at the temple and how to prepare. It is best to consult at the temple.
It is near Heirinji Temple and Takarazuka Shrine. When I saw it from the outside, I was worried that the torii gates were lined up in a row, so I stopped by. When I looked at the gate, I thought for a moment, "Is it okay to enter?", But it seems to be open to the public. The site is not that large, but it is a clean temple. The statue of the sad mother Kannon and the torii gate of Yodohime Daimyojin stand out, but it was impressive that the plum blossoms were very beautiful.
1 I stopped by when I visited Heirinji Temple in January. Seifukuin is a sub temple of Heirinji Temple, a 7-minute walk from Sakasegawa Station on the Hankyu Imazu Line. Heirinji is a single temple of the Shingon sect, but Seifukuin is a temple of the Shingon sect Daikakuji school. There are mountain gates, main halls, Kannon statues, Yodohime Daimyojin, etc. Especially, the vermilion-painted Yodohime Daimyojin is a small shrine, but it was a beautiful building. There are several towers at Heilinji Temple 4 There are temples, so if you are interested in shrines and temples, why not visit them?
