Very good centre
We were able to identify the bird we spotted from the wall displays. Staff very helpful. Good exhibition. De dah below. Alpine Accentor. Can't beat a super zoom for birding identification :). We als...
Adjacent to Murodo Terminal. Free admission. Videos and commentary panels about Tateyama and rye are exhibited in the hall. I visited Golden Week, but it snowed outside. The terminal was cold, so there were many people coming here to get warm.
There is an exhibition about thunderbirds. In addition, there is a "Rycho kokugoku Immigration Stamp (Self-service)" that is shaped like the foot of thunderbirds as a stamp. Located in the Murodo Station area, the image of the thunderbird for the year is wonderful and cute.
It was in the back of Murodo Station, which is located at the highest point in Japan. I had some time to get to the Tateyama Tunnel trolleybus on my way home, so I arrived here when I was hanging around the Murodo terminal. It was a facility where you can learn about the rich nature and history of Tateyama for free. It was interesting to see video performances and related exhibitions about grouse and alpine plants.
It is installed adjacent to Murodo Station. You can register for the discovery of rye butterflies, and the discoverer will receive a special seal as a gift.
