Jackson Lake Dam

The dam, built in 1906 by local residents to separate the Jackson River and the Snake River, was originally not included in Grand Teton Park, but was added to the reserve after the lake became a national monument in 1950.

In this season, although the peaks of the Teton Mountains in the distance are less snow, the vegetation in the wetlands nearby is more colorful in early autumn. The shrubs by the river have been red, the trees on both sides of the river have begun to turn yellow, the wide river surface is blue, the dense forest is standing on the river, the winding river bank is curved out of the arc, the peaks in the distance are looming, the landscape is in the middle of the painting. The snake river is beautiful, the water quality is pure, the yellow trees reflect the mirror-like blue water, and from time to time you can see kayaking enthusiasts swung in it. Among them was an old man with white beards, a large red life jacket, a sky blue kayaking, and black pulp waving around and pulling a white line behind the boat, which was very chic. In this picturesque wonderland, it was really happy.

Then drive to Lake Jackson Dam, one of the great shooting spots for the Teton Mountains. Standing on the dam, looking across the lake, the peaks on the north side of the Teton Mountains and the lake water on the center of Moran Mountain reflect each other, forming a perfect landmark picture, one side is the blue wave of the Great Teton Lake, and the other side is the turbulence formed after the water comes out of the dam.
