Guangdong Guild Hall

This Guangdong Assembly Hall is located in the old city of Tianjin, it is the gathering place of Guangdong merchants in Tianjin, it was built in the Qing Dynasty, is Tianjin's most well-preserved, largest Qing Dynasty building, now Tianjin Theatre Museum.

We accidentally visited here, but it was a pity that the Guangdong Assembly Hall was under maintenance when we came, and we couldn't go in and visit! Next to it is the gate building of Dongzhen, I hope I can come again next time!

Come to Tianjin to travel, go to the Drum Tower, Guangdong Assembly Hall in Daqing Guangxu 33 (1907) completed, is the most complete and largest Qing Dynasty Assembly Hall building to date, specifically located in the old city of Drum Tower South, now Tianjin Theatre Museum, is a municipal cultural relics protection unit. Tianjin's old city is only a few tens of meters away from the Drum Tower, which is the location of the Guangdong Assembly Hall. In the morning, this is the theater museum and in the afternoon, this is the theater. This building is a brick and wood structure, is the largest existing hall in Tianjin, with the characteristics of the courtyard-style building in Chaozhou, Guangdong, many Beijing Opera masters have performed here.
