The museum was closed and under renovation. The surrounding area was nice and took nice pictures of the exterior and watch tower. The courtyard inside was completely covered up.
The gallery is closed for more than three years and contents not rehoused elsewhere in Weimar. What a shame the museum staff have so little regard for their pictures and anyone who wants to see them.

Closed for renovation
The museum was closed and under renovation. The surrounding area was nice and took nice pictures of the exterior and watch tower. The courtyard inside was completely covered up.
Amazing disregard for visitors
The gallery is closed for more than three years and contents not rehoused elsewhere in Weimar. What a shame the museum staff have so little regard for their pictures and anyone who wants to see them.
Worth seeing! Take -2-3 hours!
So beautiful. Wonderful stories about the past residents. Such lovely, delicate decor. Walking the rooms takes one back in time to graciousness.
