Golugsa Temple

Guilong Temple is located between Pilu Peak and Crane Valley, about 6 kilometers away from Pilu Peak. He is now believed to have been built after the reign of King Sukjong, and it is said that the original site of Guryongsa Temple was a lake inhabited by nine dragons, from which his name was derived. Guilong Temple has Daxiong Hall, Puguang Building, Sansheng Pavilion, Xunjian Hall, Said Chan Hall, etc. Among them, Daxiong Hall has been rebuilt many times, but it is still intact. The main hall is a wooden structure with three rooms on the front and two on each side. It is an "eight works" style building. Not a single nail was used throughout the construction. There are three wooden Buddhas inside the Daeungjeon Hall, from which we can see the characteristics of the Buddha statues in the Joseon Dynasty. In the middle is Sakyamuni, and there are Bodhisattva statues on both sides, which are in harmony with the building structure. There are also many Buddhist relics such as Bodhisattva statues in the temple.
