I went to May 2018. It is a museum in the office of Miyanoura. The admission fee is 100 yen. There are exhibits from Jomon pottery to Yakushima from the Showa period. What I was particularly interested in was the reclining figure written in kanji. It's a picture when viewed from a distance, but when I approached it, it was the first picture I saw in a small collection of "kanji". In addition, an old private house is reproduced in the courtyard, and you can go to the Miyanoura River, which flows right next to the courtyard.

At the entrance, stuffed yakgi and yakshika are exhibited. Once inside, you can see the island's diorama and farm tools, and you can learn about the history other than the development of yakgi. The admission fee is 100 yen.
