Yamayo にも Visit the shrine
Original Text
From Yamagata Station, go east on the main street. The white torii was well noticeable. It seems to be the oldest shrine in the city, and it seems that there is a rainy story, and it is the guardian deity of agriculture, commerce, and industry. It wasn't particularly characteristic, but it was a dignified place.
When I visited Yamagata and was taking a walk in the corner of the temples, I also stopped by Suwa Shrine here. From the large stone torii gate and the large precincts that spread out beyond the gate, I found that Yamagata is one of the best shrines. I saw worshipers here and there.
It is a shrine that walks for a while on foot from Yamagata Station. I couldn't find the explanation board of the shrine, but it was a magnificent shrine. I worshiped and went home 〇
It took about 15 minutes on foot from Yamagata Station on a snowy road that I was not used to. Facing the main street, the company name and the Otorii gate stood and the hall of worship was in the back of the precincts. On the day of the worship, some of them were buried in snow due to snow. Even so, there were worshipers who seemed to be locals, and I felt like they were blended into their daily lives.
