Furong Academy

Furong College is located in the village of Lushan, Jinyong Town, on the northeast edge of Laolu Mountain, 850 meters above sea level, very close to the Tiancheng Temple at the highest point of Laolu Mountain, is a feng shui treasure. Furong College does not back to Lao Lushan, the left side of the college is connected to Lao Lushan system, the front entrance is a dam Liangtian, the far side to the other side of Lao Lushan, the right side of the college is facing Yongchengchang Town and Fengguan Mountain. Furong College is a courtyard house, covering an area of 1160 square meters, three main halls, one side hall, most of the original bookstores are destroyed, replaced by some irregular farmhouses, but the surrounding walls are well preserved. The wall is about1.5 meters thick, built with the height of the terrain, the front wall is about 10 meters high, and the back wall is only 3 meters high. There are gaps in the front and back walls, which is easy to look out. Furong College was donated by Yongcheng people, Guoxue Confucian students Wang Jienian and his nephew Wang Yiming. The stone wall of the academy is inlaid with a stone door forehead, the center from right to left engraved "Furong Academy" four large characters, the small word on the right is: "Daoguang 18 years old Xiao Yangyue Fanting Wang Jienian titled". "Xiaoyang Moon" is the nickname of the lunar month, "shangyu" refers to the early, which shows that Furong College was built in 1838 lunar month. In Guangxu in 1901, the emperor ordered the colleges of each province to be changed to university halls, the colleges of each government, halls, and direct-recording states to middle schools, and the colleges of each state and county to primary schools. So far, the colleges have withdrawn from the historical stage.
