The Dachaihu Immigrants Memorial Hall is located in Dachaihu New City, a concentrated resettlement area for water conservancy immigrants, with a construction area of 2,420 square meters.
The memorial hall takes the resettlement history of 49,000 Danjiangkou Reservoir immigrants in Xichuan, Henan Province in the 1960s as the main line, and is divided into six units: "Hometown Danjiang, Migration, Rooting in Jingchu, Leaders' Care, Unity and Integration, Revitalization and Rise". It uses text, pictures, images, paintings, sculptures, sand tables, and real objects to truly reproduce the glorious history of immigrants' relocation and entrepreneurship, and shows the immigrants' spirit of listening to the party, following the party, sacrificing their homes for the country, and uniting and forging ahead. It reflects the party and government's people-oriented and mass-line concern and care for immigrants. The exhibition hall has a delicate layout, novel exhibition techniques, and a grand momentum. There are also auxiliary parks: Immigrant Relocation Experience Park, Immigrant Old Residence Exhibition Park, and Immigrant Entrepreneurship Demonstration Park.
