The entire rise of Hua Hin is related to King Rama VI of Thailand, who built this palace in the hope that his concubine would give birth to a little prince for him. However, it was not possible. After the princess gave birth to a little princess, Rama VI settled in Switzerland. Rama VII was succeeded by his younger nephew, and today only the palace is left to be remembered forever.
