The Tianhou Palace was built in the fifty-third year of Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty (1788). It was built by Jiayong Gongfu Kangan at the edict of Emperor Qianlong. Hong Kong already has Thean Hou Temple, so it is also commonly known as the "New Ancestor Palace" by the people. The architectural pattern of the temple resembles that of a palace, and the civil and military court rooms are set up on both sides as a resting place for civil and military officials when they are offering incense. Lost and destroyed by colonial authorities.
