Woniu Mountain is a landmark mountain in Chaohu City, with an altitude of 48 meters and an area of 0.8 square kilometers. It is located in the city center. It is named because it looks like a lying cow and wants to drink the water of Chaohu Lake. In the past, mountaineering overlooked the three unique wonders of "boating in the house", "banqiao sunset" and "Chaohu night moon". Woniushan Park covers an area of about 180 acres and is the only comprehensive park in Chaohu City. In the 1980s, there was a statue of a stone lying cow. Now it has been expanded to highlight the concept of restoration of vegetation and ecological leisure. The park entrance plaza is located at the intersection of Jiankang Middle Road and Woniu Road. The square is divided into two landscape levels. The first floor is an oval step square with the theme of the bronze statue of the lying cow, combined with landscape lampposts, stone piers, flower beds, pools, fog forests and other landscapes, which are simple and natural; the other floor features cliffs and waterfalls. The glass corridor with its wings is a vertical dynamic landscape. Combined with the reliefs of ancient Chaohu paintings, it highlights the cultural connotation and improves the viewing taste, thereby creating a fresh and natural park entrance landscape.
