Shijing Temple is one of the five major Buddhist forests in western Sichuan, where the first esoteric dharma in the Han region was passed down by the Tibetan Yellow Sect Dharma King Tsongkhapa. Shijing Temple has undergone the changes of generations and now covers an area of more than 200 acres. The Chaoyu building sits west to east and rises layer by layer from east to west in line with the mountain. The main buildings include Zhaobi Mountain Gate, Tianwang Hall, Tuo Hall, Tallinn, Daxiong Hall, Sansheng Hall, Kunling Hall, Zushi Hall, Abbot's Court, Master Hall, Sutra Building and Wuguan Hall. In 1983 and 1984, Zhao Puchu, President of the Buddhist Association of China and Vice-Chairman of the Eighth National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, visited Shijing Temple twice in person, and in accordance with the Panchen Lama Eyudeni Choji Gianzan, taught Master Nenghai to learn from Tibet. After the completion of the Hui-Han district, the first Xi Mi root monastery was restored by the Jinci Temple, where a secret altar was set up. The Shijing Temple is built on the mountain, and the courtyard is shaded by trees. In front of the Daxiong Hall, there is a noon pine tree, which was planted in the period of Zhou Xiande (954-959), and there are two ancient ginkgo trees on the north side of the Dayoulin Hall, which were planted in the Tang Zhenguan period (627-649). tired.
