At least four famous buildings around the front of the Gangding are part of the historic city of Macau World Heritage: He Dong Library, St. Joseph's Abbey, St. Austin Church and Gangding Theatre. Gangding Theatre (Teatro de Pedro V) (Chinese is called the Peter V Theatre; also known as the Martyr Theatre and the Gangding Bolou), is an ancient theater located in the front of the Gangding in Macau, which is recognized as the first Western-style theater in China. In 2005, it was included in the World Heritage List as part of Macau's historical city.

After visiting the theatre, you can continue to visit the historical building He Dong Library.

In a green theatre on a high platform, it is said that it has a history of more than 100 years, but from the appearance, the protection is still very good. There are no performances during the day, so you can visit them at will. Once in, it seems to have come to Europe in the 19th century, and the scenes seem to be reproduced in the movies. Maybe from a modern point of view, the theatre capacity is not particularly large, but I think it's a blessing for the residents around Macau to have such an old theatre still in operation in the old city.

Gangding Theatre, said to be recognized as China's first Western-style theater, was listed as a world cultural heritage building in 2005. The exterior wall is green, small and fresh. There is sunshine outside the door, green, and people feel very comfortable. The building is a bit classical Greek revival style, small and exquisite, because there is no visitor when I go, so it is all private. As soon as you enter the door, someone will open the door for you, and will take the initiative to ask if you want to take pictures. The service is very good. Inside the theater, the wooden floors and stairs are very historical, and the circular auditorium is arranged in the front hall and stage. But the whole theater is small and small, and it may be considered a large scale at the time. It is difficult to imagine the scenery at that time. Gangding Theatre is in the scenic area in front of Gangding, so the surrounding attractions are very close. There are St. Joseph's Abbey, St. Austin Church, Hedong Library, etc., you can go and see.
