Interesting For Some.
This is not for everyone and I think children would not find it stimulating. I spent about 45 minutes here and found it interesting from a historical perspective.
It is located on the left side of Chuo-dori from Otaru Station to the canal, at the corner that intersects Ironai Boulevard. I think it is one of the most wonderful historical buildings in Otaru. Every time I see it, I am fascinated by the decoration and the lined pillars, but there is no evidence of the restaurant I ate before, and when I think that it is an ordinary building and a tenant, including the contrast with the next pizza hat. I felt something strange.
This is on the left hand side of the central street from Otaru station. (About 8 minutes on foot) The outline is a typical bank building in the early Showa period with a Greek architectural style, characterized by a heavy cylinder and wonderful. It was closed now.
After the war, it was succeeded by the Fuji Bank, and it became a newspaper company building from 1970. It is a typical bank building in the early Showa period of Greek architectural style, and is characterized by a heavy cylinder.

Nice architecture of the former Yasuda Bank
I passed by Former Yasuda Bank Otaru Bank on my way to the canal from JR Otaru Station. The old building was elegant.
