小白兔艾米:“There are 7 hot spring hotels at the foot of Mt. Nyuto in Towada-Hachimantai National Park in eastern Akita Prefecture, collectively known as Nyuto Onsen Village. The hot springs are located in a remote area away from the crowds and can be reached by bus from the JR Tazawako Line. Nyuto Onsen Village has more than 10 springs that keep gushing out, and each hot spring hotel has its own drainage, so the quality and efficacy of the spring water are different, which is also a major attraction for tourists. You can also just take a bath in a hot spring hotel without staying overnight, so you might as well experience several places in one day and compare the quality of the spring water.
Among the hot spring resorts of the Akita lord, the one with the longest history is "Tsuru no Yu", which features a milky white mixed bathing open-air hot spring. There are also the following hot springs: Taenoyu, where you can enjoy an open-air bath by the mountain stream; Kuroyu Onsen, which has a waterfall-style bath; Kaniba Onsen, where crabs live in the nearby canyon; the mysterious Magoroku Onsen, which has been preserved in its original state; Okama Onsen, where you can enjoy a footbath in the summer; and the resort village Nyuto Onsenkyo, which is hidden in a beautiful beech forest.”

Zyfmyđ:“A small attraction, Akita Sensenbei City ~ Tazawako, transfer at Tokyo Haneda Airport, fly to Akita Airport, take the Shinkansen to Tazawako Station, rent a bicycle and ride 20 kilometers around the lake the next day, and go to the secret Nyuto Onsen in the afternoon. There are few tourists in winter and the scenery is beautiful”

Malistudio:“I found a Japanese restaurant near Nakatsu Station. Although the name of the restaurant is a bit scary, it is called Japanese Style Shop Kitaro, but the specialties in the restaurant are actually very delicious and the service is super good. I ordered a bowl of the most representative local black fish fillet rice, which has a unique flavor. The black fish fillet is fried until crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, paired with eggs, and topped on the rice. It can be said that I have tried the authentic dish.
After dinner, when night falls and the lights come on, the people in sacrificial costumes do not seem out of place with the modern buildings. You might meet them at any corner on the winding path. Watching the unique eve festival of Nakatsugi-en made my trip worthwhile.”
