Day trip to Helgoland, all my British friends might know it as Heligoland.Really nice place, I'm just sad I didn't get to see any seals. The history of this place is hilarious though:First, it used to be British until 1890, so on this tiny piece of land, there are some Germans who can proudly celebrate independence from British colonial rule, that was new to me.Interesting place with interesting historical background .
