M43***62:“This is probably my most favourite beach!
It is picturesque and has a lovely atmosphere.. people are drawn here not only in the day, but in the evening too. This is partially due to the cafe serving delicious Malaysian curry on certain evenings, but also to just watch the sun go down.
The cafe serves lunchtime food, drink and ice creams among other things. There are toilets not too far away which are on the main road by a bus stop as you head towards Mortehoe - prob about 5 min walk. I must mention that this is not a sandy beach and some people benefit from wearing beach shoes.
Our children have spent hours in the rock pools, collecting the tiny shells and in the sea.
Definitely a beach to try out and only a short walk out of the main Woolacombe Bay Area.”
