Pech Chreada Moments: Through Travelers' Eyes

Looking for an offbeat Cambodian adventure? Pech Chreada delivers big-time—especially with the jaw-dropping Bousra Waterfall 🏞️. If you’re chasing epic nature, this hidden gem near the Vietnam border is absolutely worth the journey. Expect misty forest vibes, thunderous cascades, local snacks, and (seriously!) one of Cambodia’s prettiest scenes.

Must-See Place: Bousra Waterfall
Location: HC89+JH9, Pech Chreada, Cambodia
Open: 7:00–17:00 daily
Set aside half a day to soak it up! The falls are beautiful year-round but get super powerful just after the rainy season (think: late July–October). There are two tiers—don’t stop at the first! The second level is less crowded and makes for unreal photos. Bring waterproof shoes if you want to scramble around for the best views.

Personal tip: Bring extra cash. There are small local food stands, but if you want more variety, pack snacks in advance. The area around Pech Chreada is pretty remote, so don’t expect big restaurants or ATMs.

Getting Around:
Best option is to hire a motodup (motorbike taxi) from Sen Monorom (about 40 minutes). Scooters can handle the bumpy road, but check the weather—mud gets wild here after rains.

What to Eat:
Try the grilled chicken and sticky rice from the vendors near the falls—cheap, delicious, and authentic. Cambodian iced coffee hits different after a hike!

Quick Tips:
No visa issues if you’re already in Cambodia. Bring bug spray and a towel. Light rain jacket in wet season is smart. No public Wi-Fi, so download offline maps!

Mondulkiri: Cambodia's Ultimate Nature Escape 🌿✨

My trip to Mondulkiri was straight-up unforgettable—seriously, one of the best adventures EVER! 🌿⛰️ If you vibe with fresh air, lush mountain views, and dreamy waterfalls, you absolutely NEED to put Mondulkiri on your bucket list ASAP.

The scenery here? Literally another level. Imagine endless green rolling hills, misty sunrises, and this unreal sense of calm that city life just can’t compete with. The weather? Chef’s kiss—so fresh and crisp that it felt like my whole soul hit the reset button! Every corner I explored had me feeling super chill and totally connected to nature.

Waterfall chasing was the ultimate thrill! Bou Sra Waterfall (about 43 km from Sen Monorom town, open daily 7AM–5PM) is straight-up magical—the sound of crashing water, the cool mist, and the lush rainforest vibes are everything. Romnea Waterfall and Dak Dam Waterfall are must-visits too—think Insta-perfect scenes and major peace-out energy.
