Jeffrey Woon:“First time visit Badaling Great Wall. Bought the 2 ways cable car ticket and great wall admission ticket though trip.com. Took the cable car up to the Great Wall tower 8 then walked / climbed to tower 9, 10, 11 and finally 12. A lot of excercise and steep uphill and downhill. Not suitable for old people. However, the scenic views are malverous.”

86338633:“Tip: No need to make an appointment, register and get tickets to enter the tripod/selfie stick: friendly second time to Pingquan, the museum is finally open, Pingquan City Museum is the first "Top Ten Museum" in Hebei Province in 2023. The museum was selected for the museum. There is a general history exhibition "Northern Fujian Pearl Charming Pingquan Pingquan History and Culture Exhibition" and the Khidan cultural relics special exhibition "Khidan charm - Pingquan Liao Dynasty Cultural Relics Special Exhibition", because Pingquan City is the ancestral land of the Khidan people, so the unearthed Liaojin cultural relics are quite wonderful, but unfortunately, The sarcophagus of the town hall's treasure, Princess Yelu Guanyin, was actually a replica. The museum staff said that the original was sealed in the basement of the old museum, and they did not know the reason.”

Anonymous user:“The scenery is nice and worth seeing. Setting aside the price, I just wanted to offer a suggestion: I really don't understand why veterans' cards from other provinces don't work. Perhaps it's to cover maintenance costs or something else? I feel like there's some regional disparity. You could get half price, too.
For those traveling alone, I recommend purchasing a small transportation package within the park. The mountain bus is highly recommended; it's a must. The penultimate stop offers a bird's-eye view of several major Chengde attractions. The lake boat is just okay—you'd miss it if you didn't, but then you'd feel completely unnecessary if you did. We didn't take the plains boat; the tour guide said there was only one attraction, but I'm not sure if that was true, so we skipped it. I hope this helps others who haven't been yet.”

wlk***an:“Mutianyu Great Wall is less crowded than Badaling. Since we were traveling with elderly and children, we chose the West Route, which takes the cable car round trip. We climbed from Platform 14 all the way up to Platform 20, the highest point. While tiring, it was a rewarding experience! Elderly individuals with mobility issues are advised not to attempt Platform 20. For those who enjoy a more challenging and thrilling experience, the East Route, which includes the cable car up and the cable car/slide down, is recommended.”Where to stay

很想旅行的人:“It is a time-honored snack shop. People from other places come here to Pingquan to drink mutton soup and eat sesame cakes. The soup is clear, with lots of meat and large portions. You can add as much soup as you want. Put some mustard tuber or meat in the sesame cakes. The meat and miscellaneous ingredients here are cut into small shreds. It feels light and has a large portion. In fact, the reason why it is delicious is that the soup is good and has little oil!”
