爱爱李:“The New Cathedral of Assisi is not very big, with a pointed structure where you can experience the worship activities of the local people of Assisi. The main entrance is free to enter, but you must keep quiet so that you can see the Endo prayer instruments.”
亲亲宝贝1234:“A beautiful town on the top of a mountain. The scenery in the evening is so beautiful! The cathedral is very exquisite and the interior decoration is very gorgeous. It's a pity that you are not allowed to take pictures! There happened to be an event held in the church, so I watched it for a while. The scenery outside, the blue sky in the evening, accompanied by the sunset, is so beautiful like a painting!”
135***48:“The small chapel in the Basilica of Our Lady of the Angels is the most sacred place of the Franciscan Order. The Basilica of Our Lady of the Angels is built around the Basilica. The chapel displays the place where Francis died last and the rose that Francis rolled, which is the only rose in the world without thorns.”
135***48:“In the 13th century, the remains of Clare, the founder of the Congregation of the Poor Sisters, were buried here. During her lifetime, she followed Francis, the founder of the Franciscan Order. The window displays the clothes made by Sister Clare for Francis.”
小思文:“November 4th Square is also a very nice commemorative square environment. It is quite interesting to visit here. The square is not very large, and there is an interesting fountain in the middle. The facilities here are also quite unique, and the square is also very fun.”
TheItaliantraveller:“Very interesting place, considering it as a whole with the town. Cascia is a place that deserves at least 1 day and half visit to enjoy the life there.”
TheForkUser:“We’ve spent 3 days in Umbria and had some lovely meals and good wine… but this is the best we have had so far. Chef Stephano, who speaks good enough English and fluent French, went out of his way to explain everything to us. For an area that is short of fish dishes he had tuna and amberjack on his menus. We had a great meal, good wine and he spent time explaining everything to us. If you’re in the area, this restaurant is a must!!!”
TheForkUser:“Great food, simple but perfectly prepared in the tradition of la cucina italiana. Large portions, excellent and very affordable wines, and delightful service. Worth a trip down the hill from the old town. Very convenient to the Arena Santa Giuliana.”
TheForkUser:“very nice place, not far from the center of S. Maria degli Angeli. Modern dishes, with excellent combinations of flavors and top quality ingredients. Very wide choice of wines. A beautiful experience.”
TheForkUser:“Lovely food and great service. Something to note - the outdoor terrace area has building works just metres away making it quite ugly to sit and look at! Not the restaurants fault but just something to note! Would still recommend”
TheForkUser:“Giacomo is an excellent chef and suoer host. His staff is well trained, efficient and very friendly, and the food is excellent. Highly recommended.”
TheForkUser:“A beautiful castle, and the place itself is worth 5 stars! Every ingredient is homemade and chosen with great care. Excellent pasta with spicy tomato and salted ricotta, excellent tartare with mustard, the tagliata with butter and herbs is superb and even the roast potatoes with the skin are perfect. Nice wine list, even organic. What can I say? Very pleasant dinner!”
TheForkUser:“Wonderful setting! The outside patio is nice and airy with lovely oversized umbrellas. The menu is creative and a tasty offering of seasonal flavors.”
TheForkUser:“A discovery! The owner is very kind and available to explain the dishes. Excellent fresh lake fish and amazing first courses. The homemade dishes are exceptional, the portions are more than adequate and the quality/price ratio is very balanced. Must try if you are in Perugia!!!”
TA用户:“We had by far the best food during our entire trip through Umbria in this lovely little place inside the Centro Storico of Perugia! The owner was very friendly and attentive to all guests and although he spoke close to no English we could still manage well communicating. Since it was truffle season we had tagliatelle al tartufo as a main course and as a starter scrambled egg on bread with truffels and fish carpaccio with capers and green pepper in a caper-lemon sauce - absolutely outstanding! Not to forget the delightful and super tasty deserts (panna cotta with preserved orange and 'unicorno de nocciola' with a light cream filling and some refreshing tangy candied ginger. Fantastic! Cannot recommend this restaurant enough! On top there is a little terrace to sit outside -albeit righ next to the road, but it is one-way with relatively light traffic which didnmt deter from the overall excellent meal at all. Enjoy!”
